Use a zipcode and look for lower priced dealers that are nearby and willing to sell OTC, some might be quite a distance away.

Not sure, but guessing that if their willing to sell it online they may also sell it over the counter. But not always, call and inquire. Web pricing can be less than in person.

Realize that not all dealers are listed at this website (above), and that you may need to find a more complete dealer list elsewhere. Maybe the Yellow Pages or search the web?

Remember that you'll have a 'core' charge, and that you'll need to swap parts from the old 'core' into the new OEM pack, before turning it in or exchanging it for the core deposit.

there are threads here detailing a battery swap, maybe even you tube. $1,650. is the best price, not a fixed price. every dealer sets their own. sometimes they will rice match. have you considered:

I recently shipped an aftermarket battery from Greentec to Guam via a freight forwarder. The idea that it cannot be shipped is ludicrous.

We call them Toyota Stealerships for a reason... Find a different dealer to buy from... Ideally bring your core with you so the whole transactions can happen at the same time.
