ouch, sounds like your car is a mess.

so i guess the question now is: how long have you owned it, and do you know the complete history?

Do you have a way of reading the associated trouble codes yourself, or are you dependent on driving somewhere to find out why the light is on?

Because there is a pending P0A80 (about to become a 'current' one when the detection condition is met in another drive), there is some attention needed to the traction battery. The same code in the 'permanent' column will go away after the battery issue is resolved, once the car makes the right number of trips confirming the issue is no longer present.

The P0102 in the permanent column could be for as simple a reason as the car was once turned on while the MAF sensor was unplugged for some reason. That often happens to me when I do work that involves unplugging it temporarily. The permanent P0102 is annoyingly 'sticky' because the conditions needed to prove it out (thanks Elektroingenieur) might not often be encountered depending on your day-to-day driving. It will go away on some later drive provided those monitor conditions have been met.

As a side note, when you are posting about trouble codes, any round thing in the code in always a zero (0). The letter O never appears in a DTC. When you remember to type the codes as P0102, P0A80, and so on, that means you will get better results if you are doing a search, and it also means other people will be able to find your post if they are doing a search.

Do you think I could continue driving the vehicle with this code P0A08? ...
When I disconnect the 12 v battery for 10 minutes the error on the display disappears. and after several miles it appears again.
When I picked up the Prius at the dealer I asked about the condition of the battery and they told me that it has many miles to live. At that time it was code free according to them.

When the code pops up, try to get it to the dealer so they can see it...
EDIT: Or have it towed there...

    You did mean P0A80, right?

Lots of people here do the clear-code-and-keep-driving routine with that code. Sometimes they eventually achieve a popping sound, bad smell from the rear, and towing bill, but sometimes it takes months. Just hard to say.

Make sure your MAF sensor is firmly connected, reset again.

You have to open the battery hybrid pack. See the plug´s on the ecu, mainly the orange one. It could have suck water inside that part. Dr Prius diagnostic could help figure that looking for the graph loops on the modules pairs.

Thank you Luis Neto for the recommendation, I have been reading in the chat about Dr. Prius and I just bought an OBD2 Scanner through amazon to use it with Dr. Prius or the Torque Pro to see what result I get.
