That doesn't look like a 2005 display, even though we know a number of drivers of that generation have previously done this.

You will get used to it. I typically fill mine once every three months. You might update your info to show that you have a 2021 Ltd model Prime.

I am at 2500 miles and still have 3/10 of the tank left that the dealer filled in 2 months ago ;)
I love the car more each day.

When I was working full time before the pandemic, I was averaging 1800 miles a tank or a bi-month fillup. This was on 20 mile one-way comute, erons and other misc. needed driving.

Do remember that in the 2006-2010 timeframe, various commuters pushed Gen2 Prii up to various tank distance records of 1460 miles. Then 1562, then 1619, then 1680, then 1889.4 miles. Before PiP or Prime existed. Though they did have an advantage of 60L tanks.

So let's see some more Primes outdistancing those non-plug-in Gen2s. :)

My first tank refill (showed full when I picked up the car with 94km on odometer).

I went 18,000km on half a tank. Had to refuel in May because it was nearly 13 months since I last fuelled. I do drive less daily than Graz. Even if I do 50 miles, I usually can charge for free around the city so I still end up driving 50 miles in EV mode. The Prime is definitely efficient though!

At some point the gas will start to go bad just sitting in the tank for a long time.

Toyota (and other PHEV makers) designed for and planned around that taking longer than a year, and wrote in the owner's manual what to do to avoid it.
