    Hi all,

I have been a frequent visitor to this forum for some years but never actually posted.

I have a 2004 Gen2 in Sileni Green. I’m rapidly approaching 200k miles and if it is possible I will do all I can to keep this particular car on the road until it is no longer feasible. At which point I’d like to store it.

I’ve had the car for 7 years now, having purchased it when it was 10 years old. I had a rather thirsty, large ICE car before that and with our first child on the way and a fairly long daily commute to work something cheaper to run needed to come my way. The figures were done and, for my budget, a g2 Prius won out.

It was just 2 owners before me and had around 97k when I got it. Now, 7 years on and 2 kids it is very much a loved family bus. It has even carried both my kids home from the hospital when they were born. Needless to say we are rather sentimentally attached to it these days. For the money we don’t think there is a more reliable, fuel efficient, safe and nice riding family car out there.

Hopefully I haven’t jinxed it now, but here’s to many more years and miles in my Gen2.
