    Hi folks,

I have been a long time lurker benefitting from your discussions, so let me start with a thanks for that :)

A stone has damaged the radiator inverter of our beloved Prius. I was told repair is not possible.

Money is tight so I'd like to diy the replacement. I can't find instructions online though.

Has anyone here done this before? What's the complexity? I'm not particularly good at cars but I am willing to learn and do this.

    Thanks.

Did you ever find instructions? I believe I have the same issue. Our prius V had error codes indicating inverter cooling failure. I noticed that the inverter reservoir was empty. I topped it off, noticed it all leaked out on the driveway. I thought initially that it was the inverter pump failure but on further inspection I believe it is OK and the culprit is a damaged radiator. It has coolant leaking out from somewhere in one of the aluminum fins.

    - Requires you to remove your front bumper
    - the inverter radiator sits above the condensor so you'll need to be careful
