    I parked my car in Oakland once and my mother left her door unlocked. When we got back to the car, a homeless man was sitting in the passenger seat, rifling through my glovebox. I was ready to kill him. He looked at my mother and said he was hungry. So she gave him $10 and sent him on his way.

    I miss my mother.

    So a guy with a Prius got his catalytic converter stolen. He got it replaced and had "one of those straps" installed (detective's words). It just got stolen again! They cut right through the strap.

    I would definitely get one of the plate-style shields installed.

    Here’s my son inspecting the Cat Shield we installed. The Prius is now his to drive, although I still drive it often.
