I have friends with a 2020 Prius. They live the car but hate the interior black shiny surfaces. They prefer more matte, something that doesn’t show every fingerprint and smudge. Does anyone know of someone sells overlays for those surfaces? Or is there a product out there that could be applied over them?

The 2016 was good with a lot of white. In 5½ years it hasn't collected any dust or fingerprints - WONDERFUL unlike the SHINY BLACK.

I hate the Black - but sorry, don't have a solution.

Yeah, that’s one thing I don’t like about our Prius. Never understood the piano black appeal. Cadillac is the worst offender.

Any vinyl wrap will work. It is a bit difficult on the center console and front dash panel around the head unit but can be done. Smaller pecies are very easy.

Here is my Delete PianoBlack project on my 2020 PP. I have not done it on my new 2021 PP yet, but it is on a TO DO List.

I was nearly blinded driving home from the dealer. I thought about using painters tape for the short term.

The piano black in mine looked GREAT for about umm, 10 days. Then it begins to get worse and worse and even when you clean it with cleaning products etc it’s only a matter of time before it collects dust and little hairs etc.

Ugh. It’s an example of something that looks good on paper but doesn’t work very well.

I wrapped mine with matte black vinyl. No glare, no prints, no scuffs.

In my wife's Prius, I used plasti dip. No glare, no prints, plenty of scuffs. But it was a LOT easier.
