Does anyone have someone who could install a prius v offroad kit and maybe a hitch in the portland area?

You could always make the drive down to Prius Offroad headquarters in Chico, CA. ;)

I installed the lift kit with a friend in about 3 hours. It's worth doing yourself if you have or know someone who has tools. You will need:
    1. Jack
    2. At least one jack stand
    3. 12-23 mm sockets and drivers
    4. A pretty powerful drill
    5. pry bar (can probably do without)
    6. Dead blow hammer

I haven't done a hitch yet but from what I've seen it seems like a pretty straight forward install. The install will cost you more than the lift.
