I recently replaced my front rotors and pads on my 08 G2. Now the Brake warning light is illuminated constantly. I have a cheap OBDI reader that is showing no trouble codes. I read the maintenance manual and since I do not have the Toyota scan/reset tool I jumpered the OBDI socket and instead of getting some code back from the light the VSD and Brake light flash intermittantly, the anti lock light stays off. So I tried the recommended reset procedure, turning the power on and applying the brakes 8 times within 5 seconds, which did not reset anything. The manual does not shed any light on the dual flashing lights, or give any clues about exactly where to go. Does anyone have knowledge of how to proceed?

Use the Advanced Seach and search for blink codes, particularly posts by ChapmanF. Search only Gen 2 (2004-2009) Toyota Prius Forums plus search child forums as well.

Get the codes from each light that is blinking them out and post them here

I don't think I'm observing any codes blinking from these lights, but them flashing continuously. I will jumper the OBDI again and look to see if there are codes.
