    I've heard that the Arctic is also warming much faster than the more temperate zones. It was in the 60's F in Antarctica during our winter up here. I don't remember the month, it might have been February? Another interesting thing I've been watching lately is the windstream graphic option in the wondermap from weatherunderground. If you think the hurricanes we get up here are nasty, you should take a look at how many and how often the swirling vortexs spin up in the seas all around Antarctica. I've also heard that the ozone hole is now larger than Antarctica. That sounds pretty big to me, how about you all?

    I thought the ozone hole was on the ropes? Reports of its demise exaggerated?

    In an attempt to justify going off topic here, it is interesting that Arctic sea-ice minima and Antarctic ozone minima happen at about the same time each year. Probably just a coincidence :cool::cool::D
