Always used and liked Nokia WRG3 195/65R15 95 H. Will need new tires and they are no longer made

    Hi Everyone,
I live on Long Island, Suffolk County, New York. The stock tires on my 2013 Prius were horrible in snow. The Nokias were way better. We don't get a ton of snow here, but I drive 25 miles each way between home and work and need good tires for the commute. I would appreciate any recommendations regarding tires, as I anticipate putting new ones on this winter.
    Thanks in advance!

Michelin Cross Climate might be worth a look. Haven’t tried them but have heard good things.

Thank you! I see that lower mileage should be expected. I get great mileage with the Nokias, but if ends up the Cross Climates seem best, safety first!

It seems to me this would be right for my car but the website I see it on indicates it does not seem correct for my car. I understand XL = extra load and V has to do with speed. the "95" is the load index. Is the website wrong or am I missing something? Thanks again!

What website? Try Michelin site? IIRC a few here have used it.

Ok, TireRack site offers it, for 2010 Prius with 15" rims, in the "all season w/Severe Snow Service Rating" category. Status currently "back order" though.

    I just changed my tires with Michelin Crossclimate 2. 195/65 R15 91H.
I have great expectations after what I read about them. :)

Thanks. Michelin site says this would be correct for my car: 195/65R15/XL 95V BSW
It specifies BSW (black sidewall), but is otherwise the same, so I have to assume Michelin would know and the other site (which was Walmart - they have really good prices) was incorrect.
