is there a way to tell how many Fobs are connected to your car?
I ask cause the other day I unlocked the car from my garage then walked to the car to get something and
the car beeped and locked itself. it got me really puzzled.

it is programmed to do that. you only have so many seconds, the you need to hit it again or use sks.
but to answer your question, tech stream will tell you, and let you add or delete fobs

If I remember correctly, you have 30 seconds to open any door or it will automatically lock the doors..

This is a security feature which is intended to protect you from an accidental button press. If you open and close one of the doors, it will not automatically relock.

How many roads must a man walk down when his head gasket blows and he has to call an Uber? The answer my friend is blowing in the wind.... Yes how many years can a gen3 exist before the brake booster is washed to the sea? (Harmonica solo...) Yes and how many years can some people exist thinking egr cleaning is all that is needed? The answer my friend is known by Toyota... How many deaths before he knows too many engines have died? The answer my friend is gen4...

Actually this happened to me couple of time when I forget my mobile phone inside the car, the car start beeping itself after some time because of mobile phone vibration. I tried the experiments sitting inside and asking someone to lock the car, as soon as I move it start beeping. I took my car to the local auto locksmith who checked the security features and confirm that there is nothing wrong with it. Don't leave anything in the car like mobile phone or tablets otherwise a small motion will result into car beeping.
