Sometimes you just shake your head., Sold this to a friend and now I have it back.

He was driving down the highway 73mph and it died, red triangle......
I can get it to shift into neutral but thats all, Did get it to start once and let it run till it shut off.
Currently the hybrid battery is at 210V, The other battery is 13V.

One thing I noticed is I don't hear the starting relays clicking. I replaced these but no change. (So I guess it might be a computer?)
Currently no DTC codes with the cheap scanner, Have use techstream before (do have 12, but stuck on registration)

Any help would be appreciated, thanks

Yes, but probably not a computer being faulty. Probably just a computer doing its job and saying "I am not going to start this car because I have identified X, Y, and Z problem that I will tell you about as soon as you connect Techstream and ask me."

I wonder what else may have occurred just prior to the car dying? 73 mph may not have been the upper limit of his travels.

13 volts is too high for the 12v battery, something not right there.

are you going to have the trouble codes read?

If the setting on the voltmeter did not show any decimal places it would show 13 V for any reading of 12.5 to 13.4 V.
