Mysteriously, I cannot change the volume for the Navigation Lady in my 2021 Prime. I plug in my Android phone and use Android Auto. The map displays fine, and the Lady tells me which turns to make, but I cannot make her louder or softer.

The screen settings instruct me to use the regular volume control, but it doesn't work. That same knob works fine for radio volume, and audiobook volume. So if I'm listening to an audiobook and the Lady interrupts to give an instruction, her volume is completely different from that of the audiobook.

    Any ideas?

The built in nav has a voice guidance volume adjuster but if you’re using android auto, you may have to search Google maps on your phone for an android auto setting. On an iPhone, Google maps gives us “louder, normal and softer” as options for CarPlay.

On my 2021 XLE I select Menu on the main screen and then settings and select voice and then select volume to adjust the volume of the guidance.

On the LE, according to the Multimedia Manual, on page 53, press the Menu button next to the screen and then select setup and then select Voice and you can adjust volume at the top of the screen.
