Best and lowest price filters look like they are coming from the dealer right now

Walmart sells OEM Toyota filters, and pretty sure they are not counterfeit.

Napa carries a filter under the brand name "Full", they are OEM Toyota filters.

I really wouldn't use anything else except maybe a Wix filter.

Given the cost of an oil filter........and the LONG interval between changes for most people........
WHY would you even worry about a couple of dollars (or less) difference in price ??

A long time ago the dealers would sell parts through eBay. I would get a receipt that looked like a real Toyota dealership parts department receipt, ie. I can remember one off hand Deland Toyota, I think in FL. Since eBay charges the seller it seems cheaper to buy direct from places such as Conicelli's website.

I don't think the Toyota filters are expensive enough for a counterfeit market to develop....

Go to dealer parts counter and get genuine filter. Hell, my dealer will do a conventional oil change and filter for less than $30, so I just have them do it. Especially in winter.

Frequent oil and filter changes are the key to long engine life on account that current modern cars have precision narrow oil passages and low expansion pressure piston rings. Sludge and clogging restricts the flow of oil restricting the efficient removal of heat and causes the same low expansion pressure rings to stick, resulting in oil vapor blowby "oil burning."

Even if you change it twice as often as the factory recommendation, my comment still applies.

If you change it more that twice as often........that is just a symptom of paranoia.

I change out my "c" every 3500mi that translates to 9 months of driving. (90%+ of driving w/o engine heating up)

In the new Prime I got, 12 month will be the MAX

either way, either day..... OEM for the win. cannot see how a $5 part (or less as MANY have posted) can be in question.
if we are talking about a $3k part such as OEM HV battery....now we are talking

Conventional oil change and filter every 3k miles for $30 at the dealer. Cheap.

My C fires up the engine immediately upon stepping on the gas the first time.......and then usually shuts off in a couple of minutes or about a mile of stop and go. Have you considered getting a bicycle ? :)
Those come in electric models too. (y)

That's what I pay for a full synthetic oil change, when I do it myself. All I add is 30 minutes of my time. No spent time and gas driving to the oil change place or waiting there. No stripped oil plug, overtightened il filter, or overfilled crankcase.
