Flicker me this...

Discussion in 'Fred's House of Pancakes' started by Deleted member 111882, Nov 30, 2021.

  1. Is it really that hard for companies to make LED tree lights that don't rapidly flicker on and off like 60 times a second?

No luck shopping so far. What have you found?

Hard to make? No. Just hard to sell in a market that demands lowest price over all else.

The cheapest ones will always flicker at 60Hz in North America (50 Hz in most of Europe, Asia, and Africa). The next cheapest flicker at twice that rate. Nearly eliminating the flicker is certainly possible and practical, but generally also prices one's products out of the mass market.

Have you looked for 12 VDC models?
