    Hi All,

Relative newb here. For the 2nd time in the 5 years of ownership all the bulbs have burned out in my headlights(With the exception of one bulb still working on the passenger side.

I called the service station today to see if this was normal, and the person tried telling me replacing all the headlight bulbs every two years is normal...this doesn't seem reasonable to me, but maybe it's true?

Can someone please point me in the direction of the ideal replacement bulbs to purchase?

O'reilly autoparts is the nearest auto chain, but would consider ordering online.

I believe they are stock Halogen bulbs currently. I called Toyota and they simply said to use Toyota OEM bulbs.

I've had to replace my r side bulb 3 or 4 times now. I believe there is a recall on the 10-14 for this issue, just not the 15, though imo it should be also. All things said, in 120k mi, other than oil changes, a couple sets of tires and few light bulbs isn't too bad. I just got the batteries and bulbs with the warranty and will see how it goes.

Use a decent quality bulb from a reputable source. Make sure the electrical terminals in the connector fit securely. Be sure to not touch the glass of the halogen bulb to keep oil from your skin off the bulb.

OP might be gone, but anyway

"Service station" might infer generic replacement, somewhat different resistance or whatever. Maybe stick with OEM.
