    DANG

I thought PC was bad with the ads.

I’m sure it's a hoot and all, but the juice just wasn’t worth the squeeze for me personally, which is a shame.

The world needs MORE engineers with a sense of humor.

    Good stuff!!!

My wife gave me a shirt that says, "I'm an engineer. TO save time, just assume everything I say is right." This looks like another great shirt idea.

The worst part of my job as electrical supervisor in the can factory was reducing electrical inventory by $300,000 every year when the company kept buying new equipment that didn't use electrical parts we had in stock.

And as an industrial electrician, I saw this in action all the time!

Back when I worked for Uncle as a civilian I had a rule for instruments that we deployed in the surf or off the deck of a ship:

MUST be serviceable WITH a Gerber Multitool WHILE wearing neoprene gloves.

I literally and liberally replaced hardware and performed other "field alts" when Lab-bound Engineers tried to use Gucci hardware and adult-proof enclosures and connectors.

There isn't a week that goes by that I do not miss EVERYTHING about being a field tech........

    ......except the paycheck. :p
