As you can see from the pics, I need my fender and liners replaced. How much am I looking to spend? What online place is good for parts? I am sure I can bring the parts somewhere and have them installed. The right passengers headlight is cracked too but it works fine but I think I might as well get it fixed too. What price range is too high and what would be a good deal? Thanks!

Only thing you need to do for now is replace the white plastic retainer clips that hold the bumper cover in place. Takes less than an hour to fix and two clips are usually less than $50. The rest of damage is mostly cosmetic and living with it after you've patched it up and polished and waxed is the best way to save a lot of money.

Huh? I don't need liners? What is the part called? Is it on Amazon? I can do it myself?

I usually just add extra screws in liners to re-attach and hold in place... But if you want to get all fancy I usually buy aftermarket undercarriage cover stuff on ebay for cheap. You can also gather up old plastic election signs and custom cut them to shape for stronger and higher performing undercarriage covers.

I have no liners at all. I have no cutting tools. Passengers side has a crack so it won't stay on the screw as you can see in the pictures. If you are telling me I don't need a whole new fender or liners(which I thought protected wires and other important stuff) and just clips, what are they called and where can I get them? Are there videos on how to install the clips? Won't I need to take off the whole fender? I am probably going to have to pay someone to do this if it's involved.

I bought it without the passengers side and the drivers side came off on the freeway. I still need to fix the fender though. I have tried to snap it back into place but it never lasts long at all and if I try too much, it starts coming off more above the light so I don't want to make it worse. I drove cross county and back without the liners but I feel like if I am going to fix the bumper, I might as well get the liners. I will be buying from Amazon since I have credit there.

In my experience, having fender liners and underbody plastics helps my mpg. I know this because after mine flew off, mpg went down, when I replaced them, mpg went back up.

Those Toyota engineers are really smart people, just don't get why they used only a few 13mm bolts on the car, should've just gone to the 14 so more were similar than not.

Yea, those white clips the fender snaps into have broken tabs... Once the fender cover disconnects from those clips odds are the clips have to be replaced. I keep spare ones on my parts rack because that problem is so common. On the bright side you can get ra pair of replacement clips for less than $30, but probably more expensive on Amazon.

The clips are the white strips... They bolt on with 10mm bolts and yes definitely get the fender liners.

On the wife's car 2010 solar roof pretty loaded thingy the front bumper was coming out of those clips I took some goop squirted into the clips and put it on the little tabs of my bumper cover stuck it together put a prop rod from the ground to that joint or they push and let it stay about an hour they having budge says I went ahead and did the other side as you know goop will roll up and pull off it will with enough force

Okay so I just need replacement clips and fender liners? Is there a good video on how to install them? I can buy it on ebay if it's cheaper. I just have heard some horror stories when it comes to ebay so I tend to not shop there.

Ebay has money back guarantee if your purchase is under $300 and goes bad. Also the people you buy from are rated by their buyers and no seller wants a negative rating and will go to great extremes to be nice to you to avoid a negative rating.

And you might need more stuff beyond this like mounting hardware, but hard to know till you get to that point.

However if you buy used at a junk yard you'll not only get plenty of hardware, but you can practice removing the items you need so you'll have a little more experience when it comes to figuring out how to put them back on.

I installed a driver's side fender liner that was missing from my car when I bought it. I think I ordered it off Amazon (maybe ebay), and a bag of about 20 new push plugs. It wasn't hard to figure out, I had it installed in about 45 min including removing the tire. Total cost was around $30-40.
I drove the car for 2.5 years without it, so it's not absolutely necessary, just gives extra protection to the stuff behind it. I also don't have the skid pan or whatever it's called and don't plan to put one in after 4.5 years and 50k miles without it...and I do get 52 mpg year round average so I don't agree that it affects gas mileage.....at least not noticeably.

I am not too concerned with the liners at this point but I feel like every time I drive the car on the freeway, the fender it might fly off even though that's highly unlikely. I just figured I might as well take care of both liners since I am fixing the fender.

Fender liners are a good idea it just cleans up and protects the mess behind the liner and like if you go through mud or something it doesn't all get stuck up behind every component behind the liner The PVC ones are nice and soft and they easily trimmable to the way you want The underbody trays that cover up all the lines and make everything nice and flat on the bottom mine were full of rocks to the tune of about 44 lb of rocks that were sitting up in those trays for years so with the minute I got the car I deleted 44 lb off the underside of the car that was just hanging there for a long time I left the trays off they don't seem like their ideal and if you do go down any roads was rocks on them they tend to get up there which I do so I left them off and it's been that way now for a couple years and I think she gets about 50 miles to the gallon on average something similar and some days does a couple hundred miles a day
