Navigation Unit Question

I think that's the same thing that's in my early 2010 and the last update I see available for that was a long time ago I've seen some update DVDs on eBay that supposedly will work that are still quite old I haven't used the DVD in the car in a long time considering all my deliveries are on apps and everything else kind of wouldn't be of much used to me so it just sits there I think it's my wife's car if she wants to remove it whatever I would think a broken laser would be a part and that would fit many units etc I think most of that stuff may be machusta which is Panasonic not really sure I'll have to take a look

 

Yes I knew who Panasonic was and I think over the years as I disassembled various and sundry Toyotas a lot of their silver disc readers are Panasonic some are Fujitsu 10 That's about all I remember that but I was at the junker today there may be one sitting in this 2011 I can grab for near nothing or whatever they ask for it I don't know but I would think getting a reblazer replaced in a universal type DVD reader as long as it's not a Blu-ray or something should be I don't know what $12 part or something just getting somebody to do it I know is the problem but I can't imagine using the cars nav system at this point My navs that I have are at this point 4k or whatever and starting to look reasonable going back to the thing in the car would be like going to a third world country
