Requesting assistance on 05 Prius for removal of both headlights and installing new HB2/9003 bulbs. Owner's manual provides instructions only for right-hand headlight. Instructions and / or videos welcomed. Thank you.

On my 04 I opted to take off the front bumper cover to access both headlights the metal clips underneath that go into the front bumper cover you might could finagle them loose if you take your time with it but I wanted to do other things under that bumper cover and then I wanted to reattach it with more sturdier clips so I just took it off mine was a tour with fogs

Right so he's sneaking both sides off He has to undo both sides You're a couple clips from the whole bumper cover flying off In my case I wanted to replace the bumper cover clips where the headlight bolts do that piece of plastic and I was taking off my headlights and changing from HID to LED by the way if anybody wants I have a complete set of HIDs that work but they're old

This video explains how to remove headlight assembly pretty well, but he's incorrect in saying you have to do this to change bulbs... I have large hands and his claim that you have to have small hands to do this without taking anything apart is not true. It really comes down to practice, as well as having good hand skills in general... The first couple I did was full of lots of cursing and each took over a 1/2 hour each... But as I kept doing them for people I got to point it takes about 5 minutes per bulb and your don't need any tools. :)

That was done 6 months ago used Autex s1 type fanless led bulbs no noise. Some light housings off Amazon I've used their brand on other vehicles I have pictures of wiring connections as do others here.

Can you refresh my memory and post a link to the LEDs and videos?
