The website won't seem to open for me. Does anyone have an alternate way of reaching Nick (aka: @tk1toaster)?

    Thank you.

What kind of MPG are people seeing on a gen 2 once installing this new battery pack?

If your old hv battery is in poor condition, it may cost you 4 or 5 mpg. So a new battery could restore mileage as long as other factors are not in play. Some have reported better than factory once they went to the lithium cells that are in limited supply.

With a new NPR I got 50-55 but my engine/trans was in really good shape. That new battery stayed in the 3 blue bars mode no matter what my wife did to it. lol...I mean.....

I installed a NPB pack last year and initially the fuel economy was 44 to 45mpg. After about a week of driving it went back to 48 to 52mpg. Which is the same as I got pre-install, so effectively the same. I think there must be a learning period when disconnecting the 12v, installing the new pack, and then driving. Not really sure about that, but that's the way it seemed. But the performance was a very big difference right from the first road test.

Well since it’s a old car you must take engine performance and cat health into consideration.
State of tune does it eat oil as that tends to clog the cat. Even an engine that does not eat oil after 14 years the cat tends to get clogged a little.

I proactively sold my oem cat and after I installed a new after market cheap cat I swear the engine ran better even though my engine does not eat oil.

Just a heads up! I am reaching out to all the post that involve NewPriusBatteries dot com. I ordered (#1045) a battery from Nick back in March of 2022 and still have not received it. Nick has not responded to emails or phone calls since June 5, 2022 (My first follow up}. Second follow up was October 6, 2022. That’s when I started to worry. Since then, I have provided all the information to him on multiple times. I have also reached out to him here.

I just want my money back. My order still says “awaiting fulfillment”. Others may have had contact with him. I have tried to be very very patient but its been almost a year and only ONE email (June 5) explaining the delay.

It took me a long time to decide to bring this story to light. I believe he has had ample time to address my concerns.

I have filed a complaint with consumer protection in my home state (NC) and Colorado. I have also tried to dispute the charges on my credit card. BUYER BEWARE! NO RECOURSE AFTER 90 DAYS! Just filed a complaint with the BBB. I will also take it to small claims court.

I am trying to reach out to as many people as possible so this does not happen to you. If you know Nick, please let him know about me. I just want a refund and I will be fair and let this community know if he follows through.

Sorry to hear about yet another flake taking money using Priuschat. Moderators don't seem to care.

Stop spamming. I have nothing that matches what you're saying and nobody is waiting that long.

If you have an issue why not say what the heck the issue is. We don't have any outstanding orders from March.

    Because it is untrue.

Right now we ship a battery within a day or two of ordering and you get it in about 10 days. This poster seems to have a bone to pick and I am unsure about what.

Sad to see. On other car forums there seems to be a sense of community, people look out for each other, and scammers and assorted assh*oles aren't tolerated...but here, abusive sellers seem to be tolerated. Excuse my naivete, but why is that?
