You may be right, my service plug may not have been fully engaged and thanks for the correction on the codes. I was about to fire it up again but decided to change out my 12V battery as that was on the low side and after checking my Hybrid battery it is on the high side at 218V after reconditioning it. Could this be an issue being too high and should I drain that down some prior to my next attempt?

If the battery has sat for any length of time you will be fine. From the HA product guide : "If you are not going to discharge the pack, we recommend waiting 30 minutes after disconnecting the charger before driving the vehicle."

After installing the new 12V and verifying the service plug is properly seated and deleting prior codes, I tried re-starting the vehicle and got a Ready light for a few moments until the car ICE started very briefly but then abruptly stopped with a clunk noise up front and the dash lit up again with all warning lights. The prior codes were back- P0AA1 and P0AA4, plus a new one- P0A7A.
Anyone have some ideas on what's going on? I have not checked on those main relays yet.

Fairly certain these OBD2 codes (DTCs) have associated sub-codes (aka INFs, secondary codes, or detailed codes). Knowing the related INF for a current DTC may help with diagnosing the problem, saving time, money, and effort. Many here like to use techstream (dealer technician diagnostic software) installed on a windows device (or emulate), this setup will offer the subcodes (INFs) for the above DTCs.

Have you already went step by step through diagnostic workups for the above DTCs?

Yes, I am aware- the sub codes would help., I lost access to techstream a while back and have not gotten it back up again- but would like to if you know the best backdoor route. I have an older DXDIAG VCX Nano J2534 and a new WiFi OBDII Reader.
I've not gone thru any step by step work-ups on these.

Wow, Thank you- that looks like a lot of checking to do. I've been focusing on trying to get my Techstream re-connected so I can narrow it down, but of course I'm running into error messages there too. Either way, it looks like I'll be busy for a while. I basically started over with trying to download V12.00.127 several times and either didn't crack or I ran into error messages. Tried a couple newer version downloads and ran into different error messages. I'm ready to start over again with V12.00.127 as it may be easier. The directions I am following are rather vague. I am working with Windows 7- 32 bit and Was trying to upload my drivers for my VCX NANO SAE J2534, have not been able to get either set of downloads to run right.
