Drivers side Door Ajar signal while driving + unlocks itself while driving

    Hello ya’ll! As of yesterday my 2015 Prius C has started beeping at me with the door ajar signal for my driver’s side door while driving. It is shut all the way, and I notice it tends to happen when turning. In addition to that my car has begun randomly unlocking all the doors while I’m driving. These issues just started happening. I checked the door latch and everything seems tight from the outside… I’m going to get in touch with my mechanic next week, just curious if anyone else has dealt with this or has any idea? Thank you guys

    sounds like a bad switch somewhere. test the door light switch in the front jamb, then the global lock switch on the drivers door. hopefully just a loose wire.

    All of that might be "normal".....if the door latch wasn't closing tight enough OR the jamb switch has failed.
    If you have your cabin lights set to "door", they should be coming on too.

    My 2014 Prius C is doing this with my passenger side door, it started with a warning when I would take a turn quickly or breaking too hard, but now it is just staying on all the time and it's very annoying, so I am curious what your mechanic comes back with.
