I’ve had issues with a fuel smell coming from the cabin air ever since I’ve installed the OCC. I’ve replaced the gaskets and added thread sealants. Any other ideas before I completely do away with it?

Maybe your hoses are somewhat permeable to the fuel/oil liquid/vapors?

Are you sure your hoses are clamped and providing a good seal on all of the fittings?

I got Goodyear fuel line hose that said it was oil resistant rubber reinforced with woven polyester. I checked all the fittings and connections.

Does your OCC have a dipstick? I put a small o-ring under the threaded portion of my dipstick because I didn't think it was vapor tight.

I have subsequently removed the dipstick and replaced it with a stainless steel cap screw, again with the o-ring.

Get something that can pressurize (or vacuum) the system, check for leaks?

    A fluid transfer syringe?
