Both my fog light lenses on my 2006 Prius are cracked and I bought a brand new set to replace them. Does anyone has any instructions on how to access and replace the fog light housing?

I see in the service manual that there are 2 claws that hold the fog light housing plus one on the adjusting screw. However, I am not sure what is the easiest way to access the housing? I hope I don’t have to remove the bumper cover as the manual says.

It's really straightforward... Easy access... Just grab some tools and go for it!

In all probability you will have to remove some plastic, but now is not the time to undo plastic clips. Looks like VA temps are in the 30s-40s, you will be breaking plastic tabs unless you have an indoor garage.

    Procedure on youtube.

Good point. Plastic is very brittle in cold temperatures. I learned the hard way. Here in VA we had 15 degrees this morning. This is extremely cold for us.

I found time this weekend and replaced both my fog lights with their housing. The process is:
    1. Remove the two 10 mm hex/ Phillips screws that hold the wheel well trim. Then just bend it to access the back of the fog light
    2. remove the bulb together with the socket by turning it and pull it toward the back of the car.
    3. Press the tab on the socket and remove the light bulb.
    4. Use a flat screwdriver or panel removal tool and pry off the four corners of the small grill part in front of the fog light.
    5. Pull the plastic locking tab from the fog light housing and then wiggle it and pull it towards the front of the car.
    6. Install the new one and put everything back.
