Cargo box for Prius gen3 - Thule Force XT L or M size?

    Hi guys,

    I have a 2012 Toyota Prius Plug in and this winter I'm planning to put a roof box, where I can keep 2 snowboards (157cm) and more when we're on vacation.
    By now I've got the Thule 7113 Evo Wingbar Roof Bars 127cm - the european equivalent of Thule WingBar Evo 135 .... but with the cargo box I have some uncertainty regarding the dimensions.

    Thule Force XT L ext. length is 190cm(74.75") and the M version is 175cm (69"). I think the Force XT M size is available only in European countries. At least I don't see it on the US website.

    Is there someone using the M size version of Thule Force XT - can you put a snowboard without any problems and how long? Please share a side photo, so I can see how it fits to the top of the car and to be more confident which of these 2 sizes to order.

    Hi Nikolay - I know this is an old thread, but I was wondering which box you chose and do you like it? I'm looking at the Force XT L myself - kinda wanted a bit bigger box, but maybe the L is just right for the Prius? Thanks...
