Ha! Someone previously posted that the H4 isn't a good fit for the Prime, but that's what Toyota dealers sell.

Toyota has good prices. They both, the TrueStart and True-2, beat the O'Reilly & NAPA prices. Of course the Toyota pages don't give minor details like CCA or Reserve Capacity, but these are certain to be OK. The footnote says use the TrueStart for the Prime.

That was me. :) 140R, H4, and EN1 seem to be more or less equivalent.

You can find the CCA and RC specs for Toyota TrueStart and True-2 in the PDF file I linked above.

Toyota TrueStart is being made by a very good company (Clarios/formerly Johnson Controls), and it should be a good choice. It could last longer than an AGM battery if properly maintained (no deep drains, electrolyte replenished with distilled water if necessary every year).

Interstate now has their MTP-H4 battery, but it's not yet listed by Costco. Interstate shows a price of $195, so the TrueStart is a better deal.

Most Interstate batteries are middling in Consumer Reports ratings, including the MTP-H6, with so–so life duration.

I've always bought the X2 batteries from batteries plus for my cars. Usually bigger than factory as far as amps go, and they warranty them for 5 years.
