Recent 5 min video billed as the 2023 PP. No difference to my eye. I made comment to author to clarify year.

But from what I read on another thread, 2022 PP comes with an alloy wheel without any wheel cover. The car on the video definitely has the wheel cover identical to pre-2021 PP. So, it may not even be a 2022 PP.

See the photo of 2022 alloy wheel on this thread: New alloys for 2022? | PriusChat

    Yes/No.
In Canada, the 2022 Prius Plug-in (?all versions?) comes with Alloy Wheels.
    What ever. :)
Canadians also likely get turn-signals on the mirrors. Similar to how the Prius plug-ins are in England. Although, that may also be due to local new vehicle laws.

In America, the PP 2022 comes with wheel covers. They are clearly seen on the Toyota site, the pictures, the user manual, and every US-spec 2022 PP that anyone has posted.

Including mine, that I got on ~05/01/2022. :)

Fwiw, I'm all for making Alaska part of New England. (y)

Thanks for clarifying this. OK, it's only Canadian models of PP that come with the sweet new alloy. I almost thought about trading in my 2021 PP to 22 just for the wheel. But guess that would not improve the looks. LOL

Only the top model gets the polished alloys and we don't have turn-signal mirrors.

@Salamander_King, Isn't it easier to just buy the alloys? lol. (And use the stock as winter rims)

Well, it would be for this year's model. But until last year, it was cheaper (and maybe easier) to trade in for the newer year's model PP. LOL

Lol. That’s clearly an American thing haha. There’s a 6-month lead time for a Prius Prime here.

The 2023 Prius Prime hasn't been announced yet. It will probably be announced in about a month.

Yeah but this was taken at Toyota HQ (the event), so you'd think Toyota would give the media the correct info.

I like the fact that they have gone back to the Dunlop tires, which are superior in mpg and handling to the Toyo and Bridgestone tires.

The main upgrade in the 2023 model is expected to be TSS 3.0, which I am looking forward to. TSS 2.0 in 2021 was a huge upgrade and improvement over TSS 1.0.

The production switch should take place sometime in July or early August, arriving at the US dealers two–three weeks later. It should be announced in about a month.

Took advantage of the market to upgrade to an EV!

My apologies, the “first impressions” write up is definitely taking a lot longer than I expected.

When did the seat warmer switches get moved? I notice they're on the centre console in this video by the drink holders, rather than hidden further forward, under the dash, on my 2019 PP.
