Refurbish Traction battery after P0A80

    I have 2 refurbished modules (1 block) from eBay.
    I have the OBDLink LX and Hybrid Assistant (HA). I ran the battery test.
    I have a handy multimeter.
    I have worked with corrosive chemicals and lethal voltages in my workplace.

    The traction battery is out of the car and inside a safe work area. I have matched voltages between the HA and the multimeter, I have determined that the block closest to the fan is HA block #10, and the one closest to the orange safety disconnect is HA block #1.

    I am thinking of rebuilding it with the 2 highest voltage modules put as block 1, then the next 2 as block 2, and omitting the two modules with the lowest voltages. These 2 abandoned modules did not come from the same block.

    The spreadsheet is a Google Doc.

    I'll be starting the final teardown and rearranging while the community offers any wisdom.

    The challenge you face is your replacement modules need to be of similar age and capacity as the existing pack. I often caution against using two replacement modules in the same block, especially if they're newer and of greater capacity than the rest of the pack because your voltage difference between blocks will be more extreme. It's best to blend those 2 modules into separate blocks...

    I really need a step by step procedure. The youtube video of a Prius C battery teardown is from a slightly different model, and I really want to study the sensor wire removal before I produce an "oops."

    I have rebuilt the battery, and have close to 1,000 miles on the rebuild. My gas mileage went from upper 40s to mid 50s. I have ordered 2 more modules from the same vendor.
