My 2012 Prius V with 225K miles makes squeaking and slight clunking sounds when I turn the steering wheel left and right. Does anyone have any ideas what parts might be causing this noise? Rack and Pinion? Tie rod ends? Sway bar linkages? Other? Thanks.

Sounds like something inside the car with you. Could be a loose steering column plastic cover or it could be something functional like the steering wheel clock spring. I doubt it is a front end suspension part. I would have somebody look at it.

Definitely an interior bind or squeak.

Hmm. Okay, I didn't even consider it was coming from the interior. I'll check the area where the steering column passes through the firewall. Thanks all.
