Proud father of a new 2007 Touring !!!

Yay! I got my touring #3 two days ago. Glad to know the Coastal EV mod works for the 2007s. Thanks for posting the instructions. Looks like I could do it myself.

 

I'm considering a Touring to replace my totalled 2005. The 16" wheels/cover look like the JDM Touring's on http://www.sigmaauto.com/jdm/prius/prius0405.php Does anyone know if they are the same wheel/cover as the OEM's?

The plastic covers expose the anthracite colored wheel in places to give a two-toned effect. I prefer the un-covered wheel but hate the dark grey (anthracite) color. Color makes them look like old oxidized wheels or ones with heavy brake dust. Also, I think they will trap road salts between cover and wheel and be hard to clean without frequent cover removal.
