My A/C has been checked and runs good... while moving. When I come to a stop it will blow humid air out. What needs to be done?

Depending on what you have in the way of tools ....

You don't need anything to ask the HVAC for any trouble codes it may have. With the car off, hold down the AUTO and fresh/recirc buttons together, then turn the car ON (two power button presses, no foot on brake).

After a little blinking and self-testing, look for any two-digit codes on the left of the HVAC display. If 00, it doesn't have any trouble codes for you.

If you have Techstream, or if you have any OBD-II scan tool that can be taught to show you these values, you might watch the A/C compressor watts, and the refrigerant pressure, and the output controlling the cooling fans behind the bumper.

I would be interested to see if the compressor is turning off (zero watts) when you are stopped, and, if so, if that follows a large increase in head pressure when you stop.

If you have a scan tool capable of active tests (again, Techstream qualifies), you can tell the underhood fans to come on, and then go look and make sure they do.

Those are some things I would think of.

He does say it blows humid air out. Not sure how it blows without the fans on
