    217 Prius 4.

I was wondering if anyone with a similar Prius had the 4 wheel alignment done at both Toyota and NTB.

NTB offers packages where you can pay come back for free alignments for a 1,3, or 5 years.

Toyota only offers a one time deal.

I know the toyota one is great! But economy wise.. the NTB is hard to pass up.

    Any opinions on NTB?

IMHO, its a waste. Only time you need to do an alignment is when you mess with the suspension (replace/upgrade), have unusual tread wear, or no longer track straight. In the five years I've owned my 2017 Two Eco, no such problems requiring an alignment.

One bad pot hole is enough to need a wheel balancing or an alignment... Unfortunately hit a lot more than one and I am in need of one... The question is if NTB does a good job.

Why would you do that? I have been working with computers since DOS... I know how to google and hit wiki! I am looking for people who have actually used the 4 wheel alignment specifically on their prius to offer an opinion on it. Not looking to get spoon fed either.

i'm surprised no one has responded. i have seen quite a few ntb posts over the years, and don't recall (m)any bad ones. they likely do a fine job. i would never go to the dealer.

I would put my money on Les Schwab in this case then.

I do this a lot. Buy and sell a lot of cars.

The dealer will do a better job than anyone, but they are hard to get into. Mine is usually 3-4 weeks out on scheduling.

An independent shop that specialized in alignments is your second best bet.

The big chains are awful. NTB? Firestone? Goodyear? All the same low skilled low wage goombas. Chances are you will have to go back to have them fix it again. They'll get the wheels aligned but there is more to an alignment than that. Most likely your steering wheel will lbe off be 5-10 degrees, or they will leave one of your tie rods loose... and 100% of the time they do not calibrate your YAW/steering angle sensors which is part of the process on any modern vehicle.

In other words, I would not go to NTB. Go to the dealer.
