    Does this extra height effect mileage with the lift kit installed from Off Road Prius? By how much?

    It helps me get to the mountain trail heads, which are barely 2 wheel drive access roads. And so narrow there is room for only one vehicle at a time. The other day I had to give way to a big jacked up 4x4 that was a bit surprised to see a frigging Prius up there! That's another fun thing about a lift kit, going a bit further into areas where a Prius is the last thing others expect to see.

    I have yet to see the MPG hit with the Sur Ron on the back, but I know there will be one, there is with my fat ebike. I drive a bit slower on the interstate to adjust, 70 instead of my usual 75, and that seems to even things out. Note the bike charger strapped to the seat, putting a 4 amp 68 volt charge into it, courtesy of my 300 watt sine wave inverter installation. IMG_20220514_161427991_HDR.jpg

    Any advice for the passenger side? I had my Prius off-road kit installed and am now trying to change the struts but can't for the life of me get the top ( of the bottom)cam strut bolt out. I had no problems with the driver side... Just seems to be too much tension like the strut is a bit too long to release l relieve the tension.

    This is our 3rd Prius, but don’t remember the Gen2 sitting as low as our new Gen4.
    My wife is really having a hard time avoiding front end scrapes.
    Lift kit arrived yesterday for our ‘22 limited 2wd hybrid.
    I ordered a discounted “blemished” set at $50 off.
    A friend of mine owns a muffler shop so he has the lifts & tools to complete the job rather quickly vs me struggling inside my home garage for 2-3 days.
    I promised to pay him $400 + the $100 “toe-in” alignment fix at another local shop.
    So with tax, total investment will be under $900.
    It’ll be worth it (happy wife = happy life).
