Ok car is running fine with no noticeable issues. In the past 2 days the red triangle will flash on and the top of the screen will say something about brake Regen system not working.

The light and message are on for literally less than a second and the monitor still shows that it is doing Regen. Mpg is same as it has always been.

Any idea what I am looking at?

I haven't seen that before. Are there any codes if you do a full system scan?

Good idea, Dr. Prius is a bit limited in what codes it can show.

Try "Car Scanner ELM" app to see if there's error codes. Usually a brief flicker of red triangle doesn't logged a code. Only time I had similar symptoms of flickering red triangle was during a hard braking event at a stop light and it turned out the only problem was the car was dangerously low on motor oil.

LOL... It's easy to neglect these cars because they're so reliable. Yet again the problems you can have with Prius are mostly ones that happen from neglect rather than unfair surprises... As my profile quote says on here for past 10 years: "My Prius doesn't have anything wrong with it... Should I be worried?"
