I get a huge amount of dirt in my door jams. Also, I have noticed the noise is pretty high now while driving. I would like to try to prevent air from getting through the seams around the doors. At least for a trial.

Has anyone tried this? Results? Methods?

I do not have the time or resources to put mass panels in the doors right now... Suppose I could try peel and stick weather stripping from the hardware store...

After using earbuds for the first time... with ANC noise cancelling... I realize the noise is A LOT!

can you post a photo of what the rubber seal looks like before you modify it? it might be damaged.

That is possible. The car is a 2017 and there is often a black line on my white body where it meets, however I believe this is just the sound of air going through the seams in the metal... This will be an experiment.

It is also funny that I have found that sometimes the rain or wet ground also affects the amount of sound.

Most of it is probably from the tires... as the biggest effect is the type of pavement I am driving on. New smooth asphalt is heaven.
I am sick of the noise though. It is hard to hear passengers in the back.

I didn't have wind noise or dirt issues but did want door edge protectors and found some called Winunite 32 on Amazon. They have various colors but I just used the black ones on our 2017 and 2021. They are rubber with a metal internal frame so very rugged and, so far, haven't noticed any scratching on the car edges. They might be large enough to prevent your doors from getting dirt inside there. (I put them on the sides and also on the bottom of the doors.)
