Using a 2006 backup Camera in a 2005

    My parts Prius is a 2006 which has the backup camera.
    My 2005 needs it. Has anyone on this forum had an opportunity to do this? Or have you spent enough time behind the dash to know why I can’t?

    Are you talking about just a swap due to camera failure in the 2005? or a new install?

    The 05’s didn’t have it I wondered if they planned ahead with the wiring harness
