    Hi guys! Recently i bought 2010 prius with P0A80 code on it with 190k mile. The car pops up the code in every 50 mile but when i clear it with my scanner everything works fine. I’m getting 45-50mpg. Today with 60 miles driving i got 51.2 mpg. I haven’t scan the cells yet because my OBD scanner cant read it. I got few questions;

    Q1: Is there any app for ios for scan cells for prius? If answer is no; torque is the best for android?(i might need to get android phone just because of this)

    Q2 : Could this code occur for any reason other than dead cells in the battery?

    Q3: If i scan the cells and change the dead ones, can this code go away by itself?

    Is there anybody who experienced same problem with me? What is your suggestions?

    Thanks in advance

    dr. prius app

    2) no

    there are tons of battery rebuilding threads here. you can replace bad modules with good ones, but be prepared to keep doing that as more fail.
    you can increase the longevity between failures by balancing the modules after the swap.
    it's all laid out in other threads, but not all in one place unfortunately

    You can also use hybrid assist to scan cells, use torque to clear fault codes... Could also be as simple as corroded bus bars... Clean and clear codes.. Worth a go.
