Is a Camry Prime even possible?

    It's too bad so many governments want to ban ICE ALTOGETHER, as clean tech coupled with plug-in tech goes a long long way.

    A while back I looked at the Fusion hybrid and the remaining multi level trunk was a joke. The just slapped the battery in there.
    The dealer wanted to make a deal of course and when I told them I wasn't interested they complained that I had wasted their time.

    The Sonata of the day was a lot better but putting the battery where the spare goes eliminated the chance to have a spare, deal breaker.

    Loved my Camry with the battery under the seat, out of the way. Good job Toyota!

    with toyotas new battery packaging, i bet they could put a prime battery under the seat now

    That's exactly what I'm hoping for- cram big PHEV battery + charger hardware into the existing space. No junk in the trunk!
