We have 2005 Prius that was driven home and parked for 10 days while on vacation. Came home and will not start. Push to start lights up and exclamation and triangle on dash. I found 12v battery low and replaced with new battery. I have the following codes:
    POA3F, POA40, POA41.

Where is best place to start diagnosis?

The 12v is new, checked all fuses, what about transaxle connection. Any help would be appreciated.

Check voltage on new battery, with car off, first thing in the morning.

BTW, is it 10 days or 3 weeks?

Has someone disconnected or otherwise touched the wiring at the transaxle? The errors concern the position sensors in the transaxle.

Those wiring connections to the transaxle are sometimes tasty to rodents.

One tip: any time a trouble code has a round thing in it, it's a digit 0 zero, not a letter O.

When doing a search, if you spell the codes right, P0A3F, P0A40, P0A41, usually you get more / better results.

I actually replaced battery for new one as the previous newly installed battery wasn't up to par.

In the beginning, when I started having trouble was 10 days of vacation and came home to a prius that wouldn't start. The HV battery was installed over 4 years ago. Car ran fine when parked.

Thanks for letting me know. The transaxle wiring locations on the car are where?
