Can anyone read my spark plugs

    Took these out of my 2014 today with 256,000 miles. Unknown when they were changed last, but they don’t appear to me the original ones. They are at least 80k miles on them.
    What can you tell by looking at them?

    They look like standard plugs to me.
    Both my gen2 used iridium tipped ngk’s

    Your picture is pretty worthless.
    You don't show the clearly marked part numbers or the business end of the plugs to see the condition of them.
    I'd say these are pictures of Unidentifiable Spark Plugs.:whistle:

    Apart from the fact that you can see the NGK logo on the far right plug.
    That they are long nose.
    And the tiny tip indicates iridium.

    It is a high res picture if you click on it. I thought some the engineers in the group might take a stab at looking at the bottom of the electrode. BTW, plugs are TLKAR7B11

    Are they in the same order as they came out, say as you stand at the front of engine compartment?

    One and three look a little darker. Three seems to have less deposits.

    Yes, it's a high res picture.
    I can see the 'GK', so we can guess at the brand.
    No info of the part number.
    I can see a part of one positive electrode. I see some carbon on the back side of the ground electrode.
    I don't see the point of posting this worthless picture....(n)

    You asked 'What can you tell'. I'm answering the best I can!(y) I hope this helps!;)

    now that they are out, just replace them with new ones from a toyota dealer. do not go aftermarket, even if they claim to sell the same model, they are fakes.

    I replaced plugs lately on our 2010 (spec is 120k miles OR 12 years), and somewhat surprisingly, dealership parts department price was lower than my usual go-to place.

    Well hey, thanks for the fun here. I enjoyed doing this, I don’t work on my cars much (2006 Ridgeline, 2012 Highlander, 2014 Prius…and a problematic 2014 Kia Soul. I told myself if I have engine failure by the end of the day I will never touch a car again in my life. Everything turned out okay apparently.

    If they are whitish on the ground electrodes that is running too hot…
