Not really sure what you mean by "computer pics". I guess I'm just saying the color looks so different from one site to the next. The images I posted from delray toyota are the first ones I've seen where I can understand where the "blue looks matte" thing is coming from.

i mean i think it is the computer giving a different shade. in person, they likely (or should) all look the same.

The lighting at the time, the settings of the camera, the settings of your computer, etc. can all lead to a shift in the color's hue in the picture you are viewing.

Could be worse. Could be trying to figure out Tideland Pearl or Titanium Glow. I won't even try posting a pic of GM's Pepperdust Metallic.

Yep, and this is exactly what I'm saying, it makes it really hard to figure out what it will look like in person.

Even the color chips can be misleading in person.

Just got the chance to take one for a ride. Here are some thoughts and some pics.

First, the car was an XLE, not sure if it was AWD but the ride felt great. Very smooth and relatively quiet. The headroom as a 6'3" man was honestly a complete non factor. I think what people mean when they say that lacks headroom is that the slope of the front glass does make the car feel a bit "cramped". Wasn't an issue imo but I could see some taller people being bothered by it.

I also tend to ride with my hand at 11 or 12 and I could see over it and read the speedometer without issue. However the back window was really quite small and didn't provide a great view. It was however serviceable but the side mirrors made up for that a bit.

I also have some back issues and I will say the seats were incredible. I have an LE on order so I simulated having no lumbar support by just not using the lumbar adjustment at all and they were still great. Also, the steering wheel felt really high quality and soft.

Overall liked it a lot. Here's some more pictures of the blue. It really does change color a lot depending on the light. Personally I think it looks a lot better in the shade.

I too have been wondering what reservoir blue looks like. Today I saw a 2024 Camry XLE on a dealer's lot in that color. Is it safe to assume that reservoir blue is the same color for both the Camry and the Prius Prime?

Here's the 2024 reservoir blue Camry XLE hybrid with a 2023 cutting edge Prius Limited in the background. I prefer the silver for a Prius

That blue (Ragman's) just seems different (more pleasing) to my eye. Can the reservoir blue color differ from the Camry (built in USA) to the Prius (Japanese)? Seems improbable

My Prime is reservoir blue and I like it a lot. It is a dark, deep blue, looks elegant imo. Not that I had any choice;). The only color I would have possibly preferred would be the supersonic red.

Interestingly in Europe, blue is the only color that does not cost extra.
Red and white are the most expensive ones (>1000€)

Interesting…is there a blue car trend in europe right now? Or is it considered least desirable? Is silver considered premium there?
