Will I need a key for my dealer-issued locking lugnuts when I go to have new wheels put on with my snow tires? I don't remember being given a key. Is it somewhere in the car? Or are these keys standard and mechanics already have them?

The 'key' is a socket-like adapter that fits between the lug nut and the socket wrench. It isn't standard, but it should have been included with your lug nuts. I found mine in the glove compartment, but maybe yours are in the trunk or something. If you still can't find them, give the dealer a call. They should be with the car, otherwise you have no way of removing a flat tire.

Thanks! I found it. It was above the spare tire, a reasonably logical and secure location. But I'm going to move it to the new (-to-me) secret compartment I just found to the left of the hatch, for easier access. That way I won't have to remove the trunck from the car (especially when the back is already loaded up with tires) just to get to the socket key.
