    Hello all,

Long time lurker, first time poster. Always been impressed with the level of knowledge on here. I think when I was first figuring out how to start the thing to drive it home from the dealership I googled this forum.

Anyhow, they have introduced these mobile phone detection cameras where I live, the wife got the first traffic ticket the other day ($1,033) and I thought it would be cheaper in the long run if I somehow added android auto to the car. So bought one of those chinaboxes off aliexpress.

Its relatively plug and play for much of it, and I can speculate as to some of the rest, but there's still a fair to be determined and I havent been able to find a wiring diagram anywhere.

    Questions:-
    a) anyone know where I might find a wiring diagram?
    b) alternatively, is there anyone that sells an upgrade kit independently of the head unit? Most operators will only sell you one if you buy a head unit

    Thanks in advance!

The seller should of sent you a message to a link on the site to the manual. Use that to help figure it out, though did you get a CANBUS / wiring harness adapter? As this helps convert a lot of the cables.

There may be some left over cables once you have the canbus wireing harness adapter, but each cable is unique so just connect cables one by one.

I'm looking at the same thing, and when I messaged them they said to get this:

Car Radio Stereo Power Harness Wiring for Toyota Corolla Highlander CHR Reiz USB Cable CANBUS Decoder for 9/10.1'' Head Unit CD Player Support OEM Camera Steering Wheel Control Orignal USB https://a.co/d/7PBxglA

Ordered the Amazon Android auto kit and wiring harness, I'm hopeful it can equally send the audio front and rear instead of limiting the rear speakers to just lower frequencies. I'm also hoping it's Bluetooth and Android auto quality is as good or better than a stock unit. If it keeps the OEM rear camera and steering wheel controls, I'll keep it! I'll make a separate post on the install when it arrives.

Well I installed it and I'm my excitement I forgot pictures but I'll go back and get some when I trim the dash kit and mount the antennas and microphone more permanently. It was all plug and play with the harnesses listed above.

TheTewks, how do you like that system? I've got the white screen happening and am looking at one of these Chinese units myself to get Android Auto. Do you keep the backup camera? Do you lose anything weird like the switch to park with power off?
