Well. may be mouse or squirrel or ? chewed out the electric wiring at some where which I doubt it. Good luck ! Pubrica

I just replaced the power source ecu as the code p3210-581 talks about replacing transmission ecu (done), power source ecu (done), and hv ecu (I have it but can't replace as it needs to be programmed).

I've replaced the battery and I keep it charged to make sure it's not the battery... I am starting to think something must've cut a wire somewhere ... No idea where to look!!!!

Time to have a trained Toyota technician to troubleshoot it. It will be interesting to find out what caused the problem. Please update us if/when the car is fully operational again.

was fighting this exact problem last week on a 2011 /30 series that had been sitting a few months after small/moderate front impact, code was p2309 from memory car would not ready it just kept saying select park with all gear positions P R B N D flashing on the display. car was already in park for some reason thought it was not? ...we tried everything you have except trans ecu and including grid charging the traction battery but still no luck, it was crashed anyway so got wrecked out for parts.
    good luck..

put all the original parts back in the car, most are coded to the body control module so you are only making things worse...the dealer will have to reprogram them to get them working in your car.

leave your 12 volt connected and unplug the white wire harness on the black box next to the 12 volt battery for 5 mins..plug it back in and try to put it in park. if it works than use a scanner to clear the codes do not disconnect the 12 volt battery to clear them..I had a few issues with an 06 that would not come out of park, speedo display not working, cruise control not working and this reset something and it worked fine for the remainder of the time I had the car.

Is the pconmtr relay getting the 12 volts to turn on the relay? (relay terminal 1 is ground and terminal 2 gets the 12 volt signal from the transmission ecu)

    How it works:
Operation signal from/to P range is main SW or power SW to transmission control ECU through hybrid vehicle control ECU. At that time the transmission control ECU operates P CON MTR relay, activates parking lock actuator with appropriate control of electric current, and lights up main SW when shift is at P range. If the system has abnormality on parking lock operation, it tells the system abnormality to the driver by lighting up master warning light on combination meter, displaying warning of the system abnormality on the multi–display, and blinking indicator light of main SW.

Useful Transmission Control ECU meter checks:
1–Ground : Approx. 12 volts with the power SW at IG ON position
    3–Ground : Always approx. 12 volts
    2, 3, 15–Ground : Always continuity

Have you done the checks for wiring that manual tells you to do for the C2300? And maybe couple of checks that it tells you to do for P3102. Also check that both transmission control ecu and hybrid control ecu are getting good power and ground.

What did you end up doing with the car and was it fixed?
