Paint Peeling

    The paint on the roof of my Prius is peeling.........it almost looks like plastic is peeling. Has anyone heard of any recalls? It's a 2012 but someone at work mentioned I should still check. It runs great otherwise so I've never been too worried about the exterior. :)

    Rear spoiler paint peeling has been reported here on Blizzard White Pearl and some other paint colors, but not the roof, to my knowledge

    Similar problems reported I believe for Scion iQs of the same year. Hopefully if it hasn’t been in any accidents Toyota will take care of it I suggest bring it to a Toyota collision center…

    OP never mentioned the paint color. Certain paint colors are known to have problems, like the blue on my 2016 Corolla.

    I believe Toyota acknowledged problems with their Super White (non-metallic) paint as well.
