seems very low. I’m getting like 43mpg. Driven it so far about 100 miles in mostly stop and go city traffic.

Anyone else on the 19” awd getting relatively awful mileage?

It is way too soon to expect the best fuel economy. In addition to the car getting 'broken in', you are still getting use to it. It might even be too soon for the computer to learn your driving pattern at this point.

Something to keep in mind. The EPA tests are done on tires with the equivalent of 4000 miles on them, and the manufacturers would use even more worn ones if they could.

That said check your tire pressures. Dealer could have set them too low, and slow leaks can happen.

did you reset the meter after taking delivery?

serious stop and go can be an impediment to good mpg's

I've been averaging around 47 combined pretty consistently. 2800mi on the car.

    **Link broken**

70.9 MPG's on the 19's! Fuel-up matched the computer. Massive numbers on a barely broken in Prius with sports car wheels. I will be breaking all records on my new LE.

**EDIT** I guess there's no way to link a Reddit thread on here? How dumb. Instead, Google: "2023 XLE 70.9 MPG for Entire Tank".

XLE AWD, driven 700 miles, mpg reading reset around 200 miles ago. Lots of hills in my very rural area which make maintaining high mpg rather difficult.
Dips down towards 40-41 when I hit the parkway, with plenty more hills and higher speeds. If I stay local, I can maintain about 43, but I really have to try.
On my old 2014 model, I think I was netting around 45. My '08 fusion gets around 30mpg as displayed in Torque.

Generally speaking, I haven't seen it below 45mpg for any trip greater than 5 miles. Some hills (but not mountainous), average speeds around 40-45mph, lifetime including break-in period mine is getting ~55mpg calculated from odometer and fuel pumps.

Using the Eco-meter has helped me get consistent fuel economy, but even if I push well into the "power zone" I still generally get >45mpg.

Gen5 displayed mpg appears to be accurate. I've only filled up once so far, but it was dead on. Other users on here are reporting the same. I'll double check once or twice more to be certain, but if it stays as accurate as the first fill up, there won't be a point in calculating separately anymore.

I'm up to 650 miles and I've reached 47mpg on this tank so far. Small town with lots of short trips. First tank was something like 43-45mpg, so it gets better as the car breaks in. I expect it to eventually reach low to mid 50s.

How tf? My XLE AWD gas mileage has actually gone down since I last commented. It's now sitting at 40.6 after around 1k miles, including a trip from kentucky to tennessee and back. I drive fairly conservatively, with basically no cargo, and AC on Auto set to 70 (in ~75-80F weather). Is it the AWD? Does the author of this article have no hills to contend with? They mention the Limited when comparing with official specs, but is that actually what they were driving? What's going on here?
