Not fake news. There are several CA rebates. Many have income caps.

Of course, I am very familiar with the website you provided, as I am a California EV owner.

Nevertheless, the numbers provided are simply completely wrong for California. For example, for the CVRP rebate, they quoted the $7,500 FCEV rebate instead of the $2,000 BEV rebate. They also quoted the potential gas savings as a rebate. Moreover, in California, we are not getting a discount off MSRP unlike in some other states. So, yes, it is fake news.

They did not use gas savings in the calculation, and they did use Cali msrp.
Idk if they got the state rebate correct or not.
I won’t argue whether or not someone could really get down to that net, but I think the point is well made

When I was a little kid, they had cool long-wave radio antennas on the roofs with decorative masts scanning the entire length of the roof. They would have an antenna/ground wall outlet in the apartments. :)

It's so bizarre to me when folks don't include the price of electricity in their EV calculations. A 2023 Prius will regularly beat a Tesla in fuel costs in multiple metros in California, even with their highest-in-the-nation gas costs - since their electricity is CRAZY expensive.

No, I do not see the numbers you see here in California, even if I use your Zip code. They are smart—they are basing the numbers on the IP address, not on the Zip code.

Yeah, I average 70 mpg on my Prius Prime in the HV mode; so, there are no fuel savings, and in fact, there may actually be a fuel penalty.

OK, but I did not see it when I used the Tesla website with my Southern California Zip code.

I’m sure very few might qualify for the really low net, but sub 30k seems very doable if I can get one here for $29,000. Plus ttl

I used the sight linked above to look up California rebates. If you meet the qualifications then there is a $7500 CA state rebate.
I punched in 90010 for a zip code.

If you have an old car you are scrapping, it looks like you can get another few thousands off.

Well, if I met those qualifications around here, I wouldn't be able to afford food, let alone a Tesla.

As I read it, 4 times the poverty level.
