Hi all! First post here as normally everything I need information-wise is provided through old posts. This issue however I'm having a bit of trouble figuring out, maybe someone here can help me solve this problem.

Where the heck does this cable go!?!?!?! We spent over an HOUR trying to figure this out and could NOT see where this little 2-wire connector went. We assumed it was for glovebox lights or something, but we didn't see any ports or glovebox light to plug this into.

Any help IDing this cable would be fantastic, as it's the only thing (sans a cracked air vent panel) we had trouble with during the Odometer fix + radio install.

    Best Regards,

    Rinaun

Pictures of the wires in their colors would be more help The connector doesn't ring a bell are we sure it was connected to something? There are some plugs in this vehicle that if you don't have certain things they don't get used.

I actually found out where that wire goes after spending 2 hours watching disassembly videos. Apparently it goes to a light (or sensor) for the lower glove box; either someone removed the sensor before I owned the car OR it got lost during disassembly. I'm betting someone removed it before I had the car as I was fairly meticulous taking it all apart. Below is the part of someone's video that made me realize it went there and luckily I have several priuses here to inspect that haven't been touched.

Just glad to be off my Gen 1 prius as all the parts were fragile and severely expensive. Great cars, but because of the "import" status of them (and the rarity/amount sold), gen 2 is a breath of fresh air so far.[IMG]
